Do you need our help?

If you're a non-driving senior citizen (55 years or older) and living in Great Falls, you may qualify for our free ride service and for future services we may add such as simple home repair, tech assistance, and scheduled calls to check in on you.  Only our ride service requires that you are non-driving.  Seniors receiving SCGF assistance are our "Clients".

First, submit an application (see below).  After we receive your application, someone from our staff will contact you, get any additional information needed, and schedule a home visit.  Once your application is approved, you will be added to our Client list and you (or a member of your family) can schedule ride requests when you need transportation.  Our volunteer drivers will help you get to important appointments or run essential errands when you can't find a transportation alternative.  While only non-drivers can participate in our ride service, when we add other services such as tech assistance, driving and non-driving seniors alike can become Clients.

To submit a Client application, there are 3 alternatives:
  1. Online application: you or a friend or family member can complete the application online by clicking on this link. [COMING SOON]
  2. Complete paper application: download the application here, fill it out, and send it to us by mail at SCGF, PO Box 64, Great Falls, VA  22066.  Or scan your application form and email it to clients@theSCGF.org.
  3. Call us:  at (703) 586-9696 and leave a message expressing your interest in becoming a client.  We will return your call and take your application information over the phone.
